Return & Refund Policy
This policy covers two different categories of products in our store, each with its own terms. Please review the section that applies to your order.
Print-on-Demand Merchandise (apparel, accessories, drinkware, and similar items)
Because our apparel, accessories, drinkware, and other print-on-demand merchandise are produced on demand after an order is placed, we do not accept returns or exchanges for buyer's remorse, incorrect size selection, change of preference, or accidental orders.
If an item arrives damaged, defective, misprinted, or materially different from the order placed, please contact us promptly after delivery with your order number and clear photographs of the product and packaging. Once reviewed and approved, we will work with our fulfillment partner to provide an appropriate resolution, which may include replacement or refund where applicable.
Customers are responsible for reviewing all product descriptions, sizing information, colors, quantities, and shipping information before completing their purchase.
The Harkins Method™ Signature Gait-Training Belt
Each Harkins Method™ Signature Gait-Training Belt is individually handcrafted and made to order using measurements supplied by the customer or caregiver. Because this is a personalized, made-to-order product, all sales are final once production has begun.
We cannot accept returns or provide refunds for incorrect measurements submitted by the purchaser, changes in body size after production, change of mind, or improper use.
If a belt arrives with a verified workmanship defect, damage, or an error that differs materially from the measurements or specifications submitted with the order, please contact us promptly with photographs and the original order information for review. If the error is determined to be ours, we will work with you to appropriately correct the product.
Customers and caregivers are responsible for providing accurate measurements and following all fitting, use, and care instructions supplied with the product.
Important: The Harkins Method™ Signature Gait-Training Belt is a supportive training and mobility-assistance product. It does not prevent falls and is not a substitute for appropriate supervision, professional judgment, or individualized medical or rehabilitation guidance.
Shipping Policy
Print-on-Demand Merchandise: Shipped via our fulfillment partner. Additional item shipping is $2.00 per item. Estimated delivery is 5–12 business days from order confirmation. (Note: the full base shipping rate table by product wasn't confirmed in Shawnee's emails — only the $2.00 additional-item rate came through. Fill in the base rate once confirmed.)
The Harkins Method™ Signature Gait-Training Belt: This item is handcrafted to order and fulfilled directly by us, separate from our print-on-demand partner. Because each belt is custom made, production and shipping timelines differ from our other merchandise. (Note: exact belt production/shipping timeline wasn't specified in Shawnee's emails — needs her input before publishing.)
